2022 UPDATE

The Wrought Ironwork competitions will be back in 2022 on 12th to 15th July

As part of the attractions for the Great Yorkshire Show, we aim to promote the blacksmithing trade and public awareness in this ancient craft, by hosting an interactive, hands on experience for visitors.

The 2022 show will be packed full of events, not least in the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths marquee. There will be an exhibition of traditional and contemporary blacksmithing from contributing smiths, plus demonstrations in the craft taking place throughout the show.

Exhibition entries from both professional smiths as well as budding amateur blacksmiths are welcomed. Please get in touch to find out more, or check the Exhibit Competition page for further details.
